Description: The arms were last granted on November 12, 1973 and first for the Amt Hausberge on Februay 3, 1936. The towers on the wall symbolise the Schalksburg, the headquarters of the Lords of Berge who ruled the area in the 14th and 15th century. The eagle wing is taken from their arms. The colours gules and Argent are the colours of the Bishopric of Minden.
