Jean-Paul Troadec (born October 14, 1948 in Saint-Renan, Finistère, France) is a French aerospace engineer. He is the current head of the French Bureau d'Enquêtes et d'Analyses pour la Sécurité de l'Aviation Civile, the France aviation accident investigation bureau.

Graduate from École Polytechnique (1967) and French Civil Aviation University (1970) he has done a career of 25 years at the French civil aviation authorities. From 1985 till 1993, he was head of the Service d'exploitation de la formation aéronautique.

He was nominated head of the Bureau d'Enquêtes et d'Analyses pour la Sécurité de l'Aviation Civile in 2009, succeeding Paul-Louis Arslanian.
