Moccasin Kill is a river that flows into the Mohawk River by Rotterdam Junction, New York.

With a 6-8 mile width and a total depth of 41–46 feet, the river is most abundant in winter. However, it can be reached in any year during the summer. The river has a fairly narrow channel, producing turbidity in winter.

The river is usually low water from mid-October to late January in the Mohawk River corridor. Mid-January through early April is when turbidity levels tend to be low in the Niagara River and the St. Lawrence. The shallow channel of the Moccasin Kill allows for rapidity of flow during wet weather.
