Nasser Givehchi facts for kids
Nasser Givehchi (Persian: ناصر گیوه چی, November 12, 1932 – May 15, 2017) was an Iranian wrestler. He won the silver medal in the Featherweight division of Freestyle wrestling in the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, and also competed at the 1956 Summer Olympics, where he managed to get to sixth place in the 62 kg division.
Givehchi ranked fifth at the 1954 World Wrestling Championships in Tokyo. In the 1958 Asian Games in Tokyo Givehchi managed to win the bronze medal of the 62 kg division.
Givehchi died in Tehran, Iran on May 15, 2017 at the age of 86.
