New Leipzig is a city in Grant County, North Dakota, United States. The population was 221 at the 2010 census.

History
New Leipzig was laid out in 1910 when the railroad was extended to that point. The city took its name after Leipzig in Bessarabia. A post office has been in operation at New Leipzig since 1910.

New Leipzig is located at 46°22′23″N 101°56′51″W / 46.37306°N 101.94750°W (46.373050, -101.947542).

2010 census
As of the census of 2010, there were 221 people, 115 households, and 71 families residing in the city. The population density was 248.3 inhabitants per square mile (95.9/km2). There were 155 housing units at an average density of 174.2 per square mile (67.3/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 97.3% White, 0.9% Native American, and 1.8% from two or more races.
There were 115 households, of which 10.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.8% were married couples living together, 3.5% had a female householder with no husband present, 3.5% had a male householder with no wife present, and 38.3% were non-families. 35.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 20.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 1.92 and the average family size was 2.42.
The median age in the city was 57.8 years. 11.8% of residents were under the age of 18; 3.6% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 12.7% were from 25 to 44; 36.2% were from 45 to 64; and 35.7% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 52.5% male and 47.5% female.
