Rosedale is a village in Iberville Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 793 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Rosedale is located at 30°26′24″N 91°27′42″W / 30.44000°N 91.46167°W (30.439929, -91.461588).

As of the 2020 United States census, there were 664 people, 338 households, and 221 families residing in the village.
As of the census of 2000, there were 753 people, 264 households, and 195 families residing in the village. The population density was 96.7 inhabitants per square mile (37.4/km2). There were 296 housing units at an average density of 38.0 per square mile (14.7/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 51.79% White, 46.22% African American, 1.73% Asian, and 0.27% from two or more races.
There were 264 households, out of which 36.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.5% were married couples living together, 18.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.1% were non-families. 22.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.85 and the average family size was 3.40.
In the village, the population was spread out, with 29.1% under the age of 18, 10.1% from 18 to 24, 28.6% from 25 to 44, 19.0% from 45 to 64, and 13.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 35 years. For every 100 females, there were 101.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 98.5 males.
The median income for a household in the village was $36,000, and the median income for a family was $39,750. Males had a median income of $30,417 versus $20,568 for females. The per capita income for the village was $12,953. About 15.9% of families and 16.7% of the population were below the poverty line, including 15.7% of those under age 18 and 26.2% of those age 65 or over
Education
Residents are served by the Iberville Parish School Board. Residents are zoned to North Iberville Elementary School and Plaquemine High School. North Iberville Elementary and High School previously served the community, but North Iberville High School closed in 2009 despite a parental movement to keep the school open. Parents criticized the rezoned to Plaquemine High because of the long distances involved.
