Sakigake facts for kids
Sakigake (さきがけ) is the name of the a Japanese space probe which was sent on a interplanetary mission.
The launch was a project of the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science of the University of Tokyo.
The satellite was launched on January 7, 1985.
