Sturgeon, California facts for kids
Sturgeon is a former settlement in Merced County, California. It was located on the 11 miles (18 km) southwest of Hills Ferry.
A post office operated at Sturgeon from 1884 to 1890, when service was transferred to Ingomar. The name honored Inis Sturgeon, its first postmaster.
