Volya (Bulgarian political party) facts for kids
Volya (Bulgarian: Воля meaning "Will"; previously known as Dnes and the Liberal Alliance) is a political party in Bulgaria. It was founded on 15 July 2007 by businessman Veselin Mareshki. The name Volya was adapted on 28 November 2016.
The party is seen as having a pro-Russian stance, and is also Eurosceptic (meaning they are critical of the European Union). It is also nationalistic and populist.
Their best performance in the parliamentary election was in 2017, where they received around 4% of the national vote and won 12 out of 240 seats.
