Walesboro is an unincorporated community in Wayne Township, Bartholomew County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.
History
A post office was established at Walesboro (also spelled historically Wailesborough and Wailesboro) in 1852, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1907. The community was named for its founder, John P. Wales.
Geography
Walesboro is located at 39°08′43″N 85°54′52″W / 39.14528°N 85.91444°W.
The community is located on Indiana State Road 11 and is three miles east of Interstate 65.
