Bridle Trails State Park is 489-acre (198 ha) Washington state park in the Bridle Trails neighborhood of King County. The park borders the Eastside cities of Kirkland, Bellevue, and Redmond. It offers a 28-mile (45 km) trail system for horseback riding and hiking. An outdoor arena is used for equestrian shows.

History

Local advocacy led to the establishment of Bridle Trails as a state park in 1932. Initial park development was done in 1933 by workers with the Civil Works Administration, whose efforts included clearing brush, burning logging debris, and building trails and fences.
